cant open images and videos
Hello,
The wifi pc file explorer is unable to open images and videos (doesnt matter large or small size) from pc. I can even see the thumbnails of images / videos but fails to view them. Other functions like downloading the files to device and rename/delete files on pc works. I have added exception for Wifi Lan Server in my av firewall as instructed.
Is there something else to be done for everything to work?

What do you mean by "unable to open" ? What exactly is happening when you press/click on an image file or a video file ?

Well, in case of images the black window of viewer opens and shows loading symbol for some time and then shows red minus symbol.
Clicking on videos and then selecting mx player to play the video, the same loading animation goes on forever even for very small videos.

Please make sure your PC's firewall is allowing WL Server's file stream port.
There are 3 ports(you can see them when you run WL Server)
Port, File Transfer Port and File Stream Port.
Your firewall must allow all of them for WL Server to run properly.

dummy me! i had forgotten to allow the third port for streaming in firewall. Now it works fantastic!
